University Thesis Statement - 781 Words

Dr. Boggess, I am writing to you today on behalf of the Concord student population in regards to the financial reasons behind students dropping out or deciding to further their education elsewhere. Concord University has one of the lowest retention rates of all the universities in West Virginia. Concord, with a retention rate of 65% is lower than the national average at 71.2% (College Navigator). Concord is experiencing high rates of dropping students and I, along with the research believe this is partially because of the finances, specifically athletic scholarships, that bring athletes to Concord University. There should be equality within the amount of money each sports team receives at a University. I cannot speak for the entire†¦show more content†¦(Heitner) Most student-athletes claim that they were not informed well enough about student loan debt and were told to just â€Å"go see financial aid†(Heitner). These students attend universities to play and bring in fans just to be sent away in four years with just as much debt as those who do not receive scholarships for sports. Greg Shanfeld, a shareholder at Wadhwani and Shanfield firm states, â€Å" Athletes should be educated on student-loan debt and the repayment process† and, â€Å"Collegiate sports are often highly glamorized, but it is important that focus is also placed on ensuring that student-athletes understand the financial repercussions of taking out loans to attend college. Collegiate athletes are always placed on a pedestal whether they wish to be there or not. But this exploitation of college freshmen that are athletes leave these individuals with thousands of dollars of debt after they are finished being a figure for the university. Freshman, including myself, never were fully informed of the financial responsibility that came with attending college. I believe Concord could do a better job of informing more of the students rather than their parents. Orientation is the first dose a student receives of â€Å"college medication† and I believe Concord could have informed the students more thoroughly of the financial obligation that college entails. Reading Report on Disturbing Behavior Presented to Professor P. Gillen For YOUT 301-D01 LUO By Dana Peebles L25945367 July 11, 2015 Introduction Throughout the years, disturbing behavior amongst teenagers and young adolescents has become increasingly intense. Despite the fact that many of these youth are looking for ways to express themselves and cope with the aspects of everyday life, they still strive for godly influences and role models within their lives. Question: Discuss about the Trends, Methodological Issues, and Opportunities. Answer: Introduction: The overall different types of threats, which could be faced by auditors to freely conduct the audit process. Any personal having controlling interest in the audit could decrease the audit Independence and raise the overall doubt in audit report (Wong and Millington 2014). In addition, the circumstances of situations and effective in the case study have different types of auditor freedom threats, which are depicted as follows. Situation 1: The situation mainly depicts that auditing companies could not provide any kind of no retreating services to the company, as depicted in the rules of audit Association. The overall situation mainly state that any kind of non-audit activities could raise advocacy regarding the auditors opinion towards a company (Srivastava, Rao and Mock 2013). Thus, to reduce this kind of advocacy the auditor must control his actions regarding non added activities. Situation 2: The Company is providing non-monetary benefit to the audit firm, which is unethical and increases the chances of manipulation in audit independence. It is stated that auditors who use non-monetary benefit excluding from the benefits provided in the contract are subject to control and manipulation from the organization. This manipulation could eventually hamper the overall audit independence. Situation 3: The situation mainly detects that a family members was involved in the auditing committee, which increases the chance of manipulation and decreases audit independence. The father of the auditor is the financial controller of the company, which nullifies any kind of independence that could be enjoyed by the auditors (Simnett, Carson and Vanstraelen 2016). According to the audit independence, purity is any link between the auditing company and auditors could have the overall audit report. Situation 4: This situation mainly depicts the sympathetic condition of auditors if continuous interactions are conducted with directors and staff. In addition, it provides non-auditing facilities to the company like helping them out with taxation and accounting transaction. This mainly increases the chance of reduced audit Independence as the auditor is self-auditing his own work (Marques, Santos and Santos 2013). Recognition of any shields to the previously mentioned threats There are 4 different types of methods which could be taken by the auditor to increase Independence of the auditors. Development of transparent audit committee, compiling with independence of auditors need, changing the audit partner, and overseeing auditors independence. With the help of these measures, companies and auditors are able to minimize the negative impact of unethical measures on the audit independence. Junior, Best and Cotter (2014.) stated that use of adequate measures could allow auditors to improve the audit report and in turn increase Authenticity among potential investors or stakeholders. On the other hand, Eilifsen et al. (2013)argued that companies using monetary benefit as a lucrative offer could increase the unethical measures and reduce efficiency of the audit report. Majority of the companies change the audit partner in order to reduce any kind of relationship building impact that might hamper the viability of the audit report. In addition, the company also nee ds to form a committee who she is the overall transparency and auditors evaluation. This committee will mainly be responsible to adhere and acknowledge any kind of miscommunication or violation of rules conducted by auditors on the behalf of the company. The use of above depicted methods could eventually help the company to maximize the authenticity of the audit report and increase trust among potential stakeholders. On the other hand, DeFond and Zhang (2014) argue that due to difficult times companies in 2008 used the audit report as a cover there losses and boosted the share price. This manipulation of the overall audit Independence could be reduced if the company promptly adopts the above methods. These methods should mainly be imposed by the stakeholders of the company for reducing any kind of unethical measures taken by the management. The risk associated with operations is mainly determined to be the inability of the company to support the purchase of spare parts according to its requirement. In addition, it could be said that if company is not stocking adequate spare parts in the inventory it might phase voltage in their production system. This halted could only arise due to the in capability of the company to support its future production needs.Any slow in production system could mainly arise there is involved in its operational activities. Thus, any kind of reduction in maintenance of adequate inventory could lead to decline in reproduction output of the company. Some of the researcher stated that use of adequate ERP systems could allow the management to reduce the operational risk faced by the production department (Byrnes et al. 2015). Without adequate inventory system a company's operational risk could not be minimized where the chances of stock block it could be identified. Reviews of adequate inventory system could allow management to reduce the strategic risk, which might arise from their operations. The strategic risk involved a blockage of capital, which is conducted by the company due to accumulation of high inventory (Arens et al. 2015). Spare part inventory allocation is used in supporting the overall production facility of the company. Furthermore, excess storage of spare parts in the inventory system could lead to Capital blockage and raised expenses of the produce goods (Louwers et al. 2013). Thus, adequate inventory management system should be deployed by the company to reduce any kind of blockage in the flow of capital. the overall reduction in the strategy dress could be conducted by using effective inventory management system which allowed companies to identify the relevant capital blockage and improve their inventory system. use of ERP system could help The overall financial capability of the company and reduce its capital blockage in inv entories. Audit risks and effect on account balance The identify risk, which are mentioned could influence the audit risk also affect viability of the audit report. These risks are mainly supporting the audit risk that might produce efficiency of the audit report (Marques, Santos and Santos 2013). Strategic risk mainly supports the inheritance audit risk, which might arise during the preparation of the audit report. The overall financial condition of the company is mainly threatened with the risk of audit detection is it my tamper financial condition of the company (Ojala et al. 2016). Both inherent and detection risk Code effectively influence the balance of accounts of the company. the relevant accounts which are threatened from the risk account, sales account, inventory account, and purchase account. Work Health and Safety Management System - myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Work Health and Safety Management System forPolicies. Answer: A Work Health and Safety Management System can be described as the systematic methodology used to address occupational health and safety in an organisation. With the system components in place, the various specific work health and safety issues can be addressed within this framework (Glendon, Clarke McKenna, 2016). Goals and objectives will be needed to achieve the implementation of a WHS management system within realistic timeframes. There are so many aspects to creating and maintaining a safe working environment that sometimes its easy to get lost in it all. To truly succeed in creating a safe place of work, the key is to develop and implement an effective safety management system. A safety management system combines all the different elements in your workplace that need attention to ensure you provide a safe working environment for everyone who enters it. Safety management systems make health and safety an integral part of your businesss core operations. By designing, developing and implementing an effective safety management system, you will have methods for managing reporting, responsibilities, planning and resourcing to create a safer workplace. Safety management systems have six elements: a safety plan; policies, procedures and processes; training and induction; monitoring; supervision; and reporting. Remember, it is not enough to simply adopt a satisfactory safety management system. You must also actively implement that system in your workplace. To do this, you must ensure that: workers comply with procedures and instructions; workers are appropriately trained; and workers are subject to ongoing supervision. Safety plan A safety plan is a strategic action plan that forms part of the business plan. It analyses the current and prospective risk for a company and charts how the risks will be eradicated and controlled over a calendar period (the safety plan must have a budget). This plan will ensure that there is a governance structure within your company that ensures every worker clearly understands their safety obligations (and how to comply) and is accountable to carry out those obligations. Policies, procedures and processes Policies, procedures and processes include all safety paper infrastructures within your company. This paperwork will describe all safety behaviour, expectations, record-keeping, incident reporting, and incident notification documentation. Training and induction Depending on the nature of your workplace (whether it is low-risk or high-risk), everyone who enters your workplace should receive training on: the rules of your company; the rules of the site; and the rules of the location they are visiting (Zanko Dawson, 2012). The training content will depend on the level of risk the person is exposed to. Monitoring Your obligations to monitor your workplace depend on circumstances and need. Always consider the level of risk. The higher the risk, the more frequent and detailed the monitoring needs to be. Other times when monitoring will be necessary include: to ensure that all risk has been covered by a new risk assessment that has been carried out due to a change in process, e.g. the installation of new workstations; and when an investigation takes place following an incident. Supervision The only way to ensure your workers are carrying out their safety obligations is to have adequate supervision. The level of supervision required in your workplace will increase if the level of safety control put in place to reduce a risk is low, i.e. the less effective the control measure used, the higher the level of supervision necessary. Reporting The governance structure of your company needs safety reporting at all levels, not just at the board level. Your workers need to know what safety looks like whats going right and whats going wrong. This can only occur when they receive safety feedback from you, e.g. how many hazards were identified, the risk levels associated with those hazards and what control measures were implemented. Reports of all accidents, no matter how minor they seem, should be reported to your work health and safety (WHS) representative, who will take appropriate action in accordance with the work health and safety (WHS) policy outlined in the Wollongong General Operations Manual. All employees must know the specific location and operation of fire extinguishers. If the fire alarm sounds, assist customers to the nearest fire exit and out of the store immediately. This is from the Wollongong handbook for employees which should be highlighted in other stores as well. People above all need to be aware of the safety at workplace. There should be safety engineers on board who will look through the settings. They will also be held responsible if anything goes wrong with safety procedures. For a WHSMS procedure the senior managers need to be trained. Then the store managers should know everything about it and next it is about the team leaders and workers who are trained by WHS consultants. The total approved budget for the training in 1 million dollars. In order to ensure a healthy and safe working environment, Australian Hardware will: Establish a safe and healthy workplace. Sample of a Cause and Effect Essay

Sample of a Cause and Effect EssayA sample of a cause and effect essay will show you that writing an essay is about using the two main parts of writing: the paragraph and the thesis statement. This essay can serve as a perfect platform for creating your own written thesis on your topic, as well as help you present a powerful argument to your readers. It will also be one of the most valuable pieces of advice that you have ever received. The first paragraph of your paper should answer the question posed in the title of this essay. This is the paragraph where you tell your readers how you came to the conclusion you are presenting. You can use factual information to support your thesis statement, but in general, the importance of your paragraph will be based on the reader's emotional response to your argument. Remember that this is the part of the essay where you must make your readers think, so if you are not a gifted writer, it would be best to begin your statement with a strong conclus ion rather than simply delivering facts.Writing an argument involves using your sentence and paragraphs to effectively present your thesis statement. It will also be the most difficult part of the essay. It is much easier to convince the reader when you explain why you believe your conclusion is true. In addition, your paragraphs should be clear and to the point; however, it is also important to mention all of the elements that make up your thesis statement. Without this, the reader will simply become confused and it is best to make sure that everything is understood. In order to support your cause, you should create examples of your theory by telling your readers how it applies to real-life situations. While it is always important to give the reader a concrete example to demonstrate the principles that you are writing about, you should avoid providing too many examples that may cause your readers to feel like they are being manipulated. In addition, you should make sure that you giv e your readers enough information to make them believe that you are the author of your thesis statement. With this being said, you should discuss the details of your theory, but do not state them all in one sentence. The reader should feel that you are presenting them with factual information and that they can apply them to their everyday lives. In addition, you should be aware of the fact that writing this kind of essay requires a specific level of focus because the thesis statement is the focal point of the entire piece. If you get distracted or lose your attention, your thesis statement will be completely pointless. So, make sure that you are focused throughout your paragraph and don't get sidetracked. It would be best to begin your thesis statement at the beginning of your paragraph, or at the end of your section if you have many paragraphs. This will make the topic easy to read and it will give the reader an immediate connection to your final section. Additionally, it will make t he paper appear to be longer since each paragraph is related to the next paragraph, and this will increase your chances of being read and enjoyed by the reader. The best tip for writing this kind of essay is to practice until you become confident and your essays are flowing. Once you feel comfortable with the process, you will find that writing an effective and interesting cause and effect essay is a fun and engaging experience.

His father died when Andy was at a very young age. Thus, it forced Andy into a deep depression containing lack of self confidence. Much of his young life has been kept secret. However, he did report being very shy and depressed because he never felt comfortable with his homosexuality. His childhood life may have been full of the torture that children threw at him for being the different person he was. He was able to attend college. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in pictorial design from Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1949, he went to New York City with Philip Pearlstein, who was a fellow student that later became a well-known realist painter. In 1960, Warhol finally began to paint in earnest and to view art seriously as a career. He began his career with commercial drawings of womens shoes. In 1961, an early manifestation was his Dick Tracy, an enlarged version of the comic strip that was placed in the window of Lord Taylors department store. He followed in his own footsteps to keep going in the ever-so-famous pop art track. Warhols use of images are so close to the images themselves, thanks to the photographic silkscreen technique, which is a process of applying the same image over and over again without changing the original. In 1963, he began turning film into his next aesthetic. He was the recorder of the world around him. Warhol saw this world as populated by hustlers of various sorts, motivated largely by money and the goods it would buy. Later that next year, he started to experiment in underground film. In the late 70s he began to use sex and nudity to gain attention in his films. Whether this was moral or not; it did, however, work. The rest of his short life was spent visiting with celebrities and keeping up with the worlds times. He tried to understand how the rest of the world saw things, but just never got there. Sadly, Warhol died of a heart failure on March 9, 1987, still wearing his famous blond hair wig. Andys diaries are not actual written records of his day to day accounts, but they are audio recordings of his phone conversations to Pat Hackett every Monday through Friday from Wednesday, November 24, 1976 to Tuesday, February 17, 1987, just weeks before his death. Warhol originally intended these daily records to be documentation of his minor business expenses. He was just audited and felt the need to be extra careful. In a word it was a diary. But whatever its broader objective, its narrow one, to satisfy tax auditors, was always on my mind Warhol xvi. Later on, he felt the diaries were a great way to explain his everyday occurrences for more than a decade of his life. This view of his life from his eyes is probably the most balanced view ever given. He may have changed since the 60s, but it is still the truest representation of Andy, himself. .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .postImageUrl , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:hover , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:visited , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:active { border:0!important; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:active , .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ub710d2cce456005568d110e0132f4ccc:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Film Analysis The Life of David Gale EssayHe never expressed the key happenings of his life; its as if we, the readers, already knew them. He just usually mentions the quick everyday type things such as a cab ride to uptown New York. The first major influence on Andy Warhols life was the stepping stone of his artistic career, his enrollment in and completion of Carnegie Institute of Technology with a bachelor degree in pictorial design. After graduating he moved out to New York City, where his life blossomed. He lived for a couple of years with Philip Pearlstein, who he had met at school. Warhol, with his education centered around design, set out to begin his career on the right foot. He started doing drawings for advertisements in a womens shoe catalog. It may not have been much to brag about, but it was at least something he could learn and gain from the experience given to him. Andy may have acquired his use of media exploited images through his beginning attempts at commercialism. He knew what sold to society, whether he agreed with it or not. He continued on with simplified pop art and he made it famous. He is the person most people think about when pop art is mentioned. Through his advertising projects, he was conditioned to think only in glorification of people, products, and style. One of his popular works, the silkscreen of the Campbells Soup Can, is an example of this. It is an image that everyone is familiar with, and it is so common that sometimes it is overlooked. Many times, Andy took something simple and glorified it. This is how he made his designing skills useful in promotion. One would compare Warhol to the pictorial hyper-realism of Norman Rockwell, and to the surrealism of Marcel Duchamp, and the radicalism of Jasper Johns Sagan 1. A second major influence in Andy Warhols life is his participation in the underground film scene. It started in 1963, when he called himself the recorder of society around him Moritz 590. He would find people for his movies in a club-type warehouse called Maxs Kansas City. Every night, celebrities of art, fashion, music, and underground film-making crowds gathered in the back corners of Maxs to try their chance at working with Warhol. In 1968, he was nearly killed by a woman who was in one of his short films. She shot him on the side of his chest, but fortunately he was not killed. He still continued to make films; such famous ones are Eat, Haircut, Sleep, Kiss, and Empire. He would make them boring on purpose to possibly prove a point. Again it was glorifying something thought of as being extremely pointless. In the late 70s he began to use sex and nudity, featuring films concerning sexual bondage. He may have been simply looking for a shock value content. Many artists work off shock value, it takes only the true to admit it and still continue with it. The last and most important influence on Warhol was his mother, Julia Warhola. When Andy first arrived in New York, he would share apartments with friends and acquaintances. Eventually he could afford a place of his own. Then his mother suddenly arrived in town and moved in with him. Her reason was to look after him. She would constantly keep an eye out for a wife for Andy. Little did she know he was interested in the opposite sex for marriage. Andy appreciated his mother, and never wanted to explain how she had an impact on him. Maybe it was the fact that she meant well, and tried her hardest to take care of him. She lived with him on 89th Street and Lexington Avenue until 1971. By then, suffering from senility, she required constant care and Andy sent her back to Pittsburgh to be cared for by his two brothers, John and Paul. After suffering a stroke, she died in her nursing home in 1972. Andy did not except the fact too kindly. He would even go as far to say his mother was doing fine, when people would ask about her, even though she had already passed away. Andy stayed quiet and tried to hide himself from the rest of society. He would avoid emotional interaction as much as he could. .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .postImageUrl , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:hover , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:visited , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:active { border:0!important; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:active , .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41 .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u7e8a650436e7ac6f8302df14ebd4de41:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Procrastination And Sloth The Spice Of Life? EssayHe did this so he could shrink away from human touch Moritz 591. A man who started his life shy and uncomfortable, blossomed into an outspoken artist, now finished his life with feelings even worse than the beginning of his life. After extensive research I found that Andy had much more to his life than I had originally expected. He was involved in the classic rock band The Velvet Underground, with famous singer Lou Reed. He actually even designed a few of the album covers. Most people remember the self-entitled album with the picture of a banana on it. Directly to the left of the banana read the words peel me. If one would peel it, it would reveal the pink insides of a banana. Truly a work of Andy, I must say. Another thing I found was that Andy was not only homosexual, but he was omnisexual. It was rumored he had no problem with sex with anyone or anything. Men, women, animals, you name it, it was probably thought of. And last of all I found he was unusually kind and appreciative to others, especially the ones who worked for him. Pat Hackett, his editor, once said that she has never met a person who says thank you as much as Andy does. Not once have I been more informed on a persons life. In the beginning I thought I knew a lot about. This research on Andy Warhol definitely reinforced my positive view of him. It may have possibly enhanced my appreciation for him as well. I enjoyed the honesty of the entire diary. Nothing was hidden from the reader and I felt as informed as a good friend of his would feel. His life is an interesting one and I believe more people should try to investigate other lives of the unusual. It expands your own viewpoints to accept those of others. Many critics have different viewpoints on Warhols autobiography. He was still appreciated by those who understood his ideas. But he had to have had some sense of history, or he wouldnt have left the diaries behind to try to explain everything to future generations Plagens 1732. Some realize that the diaries are rather boring, but seem to see the true Andy come through in the entries. Despite their virtuoso triviality, their naive snobbery and their incredible length, the diaries are not without a certain charm Amis 1732. Others saw the diaries as a simplistic record of events. His diaries are more or less just records of who went where and did what with whom, that anybody else whod been along could have kept Plagens 1732. Its too bad he didnt start the diaries earlier in his life, such as the 60s, when it would have been more interesting to know what he did and whom he was with, instead of waiting until 1976 to begin Plagens 1732. Some even complained of the editing job done by Pat H ackett. One problem with the diaries is their postmodern polish, such as the casual proofreading and editing Trebay 1732. The reason the editor didnt fit up to par was the mere fact she wanted it to sound how Andy explained the day. still the book is great social history with its lip-smacking tales of loveless, sexless marriages, its gimlet-eyed view of other peoples success, and its rampant unclosetings Trebay 1732. I, myself, found the book very entertaining and a great nonchalant look at the famous and their everyday lives. It may have been organized better and condensed a bit, but none-the-less it was still interesting and kept me reading.
